One of my favourite pieces in the gallery, this stunning 'Mini Moon' is thrown in one piece by Hugh West, the glaze on this porclain vessel is just sublime.

Hugh's finely structured, beautifully finished porcelain ceramics have been exhibited in Europe, Japan, the USA, Saudi Arabia and South Korea, and he is a member of the Cornwall Crafts Association.

Hugh is based just outside Truro and he shares a studio with Karen Carlyon, together they create beautiful functional porcelain ceramics in addition to their more decorative individual pieces. 

We would always recommend washing these delicate pieces by hand.
